Description
The Customer Contact Agent – Tobago (ATO) will report to the Supervisor – Airport Ticket Office (Piarco/Tobago). In this role, you will contribute to developing, promoting, and enhancing the company’s image by delivering prompt, efficient, and courteous customer service in passenger ticketing activities at check-in counters or departure gates. Responsibilities include providing high-quality reservations, ticketing, and related services to both internal and external customers using computer terminals or other electronic media in a shift-based environment.
As a Customer Contact Agent, you will ensure excellent customer service delivery by continuously seeking to capitalize on opportunities to exceed the expectations of internal and external customers by placing a keen interest in understanding and effectively resolving issues in a professional and result-oriented manner. You will ensure the effective and efficient utilization of assigned resources to achieve or surpass customer service deliverables and on-time performance standards at all levels, minimizing operational gaps and disruptions to flight schedules. Additionally, you will ensure the delivery of accurate and timely operational reports in accordance with pre-established timelines and compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. You will actively support the advancement of the organization’s safety and quality culture through compliance with corporate and regulatory guidelines.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have at least five (5) CXC/GCE passes, including Maths and English, with a minimum of three (3) years of experience in a similar customer service operations role, preferably in the airline industry. You must be proficient in using MS Office Suite and have knowledge and experience with a Computerized Reservations System. A strong customer service orientation in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment is essential, along with excellent verbal and written communication skills. You must also possess the ability to exercise judgment and initiative and work well under pressure.
