WestJet is recruiting part-time Customer Service Agents for Vancouver (YVR), tasked with ensuring a safe and positive airport experience for all guests. As the first in-person point of contact, you will act as a vital WestJet brand ambassador. Your responsibilities include processing service fees, creating or modifying reservations, issuing tickets, assisting guests at self-serve kiosks, and supporting individuals with mobility challenges. You will also manage itinerary changes, support disrupted flight passengers, handle delayed or damaged baggage, and follow procedures to ensure safe and timely operations (SPOT). Delivering exceptional guest service, resolving challenging situations professionally, and maintaining a polished appearance per company policy are essential. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

Requirements
To qualify for this role, candidates must have a minimum of two years of experience in a customer-facing role, demonstrating strong customer service skills. A proven track record of punctuality, reliability, and safely performing on-time tasks is essential. Applicants should excel in multitasking, thrive in fast-paced and time-sensitive environments, and perform well under pressure. Physical requirements include the ability to walk long distances, stand for extended periods, and lift up to 50 lbs. Proficiency in communication and recent experience with Windows-based software are necessary. Experience in the airline, travel, tourism, or hospitality sectors is advantageous. A flexible schedule is required, as shift work is part of this 24/7 operation. Candidates must also have strong English reading skills to succeed in the training program, which includes virtual and self-directed components with an emphasis on independent and online learning.
