    Description

    As a Tool Clerk – I, you will report to the Supervisor Tool Crib and Support Equipment. You will be accountable for receiving and inspecting all incoming parts, verifying invoices, and managing the stocking and inventory of aircraft parts. You will work closely with mechanics, vendors, and customers guaranteeing that all tools and consumables in the Aircraft Tooling Equipment facility are serviceable and available for use in aircraft maintenance. You will also be required to ensure that all tools are returned within stipulated time frames and in standard condition.


    Key Deliverables

    • Marks all equipment and tools with the Company’s identification and enters them into the Computer System
    • Maintains incoming and outgoing records of tools issued, returned, unserviceable and new tools, noting any abnormal conditions in the appropriate log
    • Maintains adequate levels of stocked consumables and stationery by requisitioning replacement or reporting shortfalls and monitoring shelf life and reports abnormal requests (via hand over log)
    • Maintains inventory of tools incoming and records tools issued and returned
    • Conducts visual inspection of outgoing and incoming tools and equipment
    • Monitors and replenishes bowsers and other equipment kept by the Aircraft Tooling and Equipment facility that consumes stocked material e.g. oil can, grease gun
    • Ensures all unserviceable and worn tools are repaired and/or replaced by informing the Supervisor
    • Sends out the notices to recover overdue tools
    • Assists in maintaining the tool master list of recertification process
    • Maintains a clean and tidy Airport Tooling and Equipment Facility at all times
    • Accomplishes other reasonable tasks as required by the supervisor
    • Performs such other duties outside the normal scope of responsibilities that may be required to maximize the efficiency, productivity, teamwork, customer relations and enhance the entire operations of the company

    Requirements

    • You must have a minimum of three 3 CXC O’Level passes, inclusive of Math and English.
    • You should also have successful completion of a Stores Management course and be proficient in MS Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel.
    • You should have at least three (3) years’ experience in a similar capacity.
    • Working knowledge of production operations in a maintenance Facility and specific knowledge in company maintenance support will be considered an asset.
