Description
Your responsibilities include:
- Proactively target new clients (SMEs, non-IATA) and exceed sales goals through telemarketing, cold calls, and sales calls.
- Provide outstanding service to both in-person and phone inquiries at the City Ticket Office (CTO). Partner with colleagues on joint sales calls.
- Maintain consistent communication with assigned CTO clients, travel agencies, and corporate accounts. Monitor travel activity for stronger United Airlines presence.
- Issue/reissue domestic and international tickets for United and partner airlines. Assist colleagues and customers with reservations, ticketing, MileagePlus, refunds, and navigating United.com.
- Follow United's internal guidelines and assist colleagues/customers with service issues. Process group requests and support Account Managers. Serve as a point of contact for service issues within Latin America sales.
Requirements
To qualify for this role, candidates must have a high school diploma or General Education Diploma, strong sales, analytical, customer service, and communication skills, the ability to work under pressure, flexibility with shifts, and willingness to learn and collaborate with co-workers. The ideal candidate should have previous customer service experience, excellent communication skills in English and Spanish, excellent technology usage skills, and be an excellent problem solver. The position requires a pro-active team player with a positive attitude, high multitasking, prospecting, and telemarketing skills. Legal authorization to work in Honduras without sponsorship is required. 2+ years of airline sales, reservations & ticketing experience, or proven sales experience are a plus.
