Description
While ensuring passenger comfort and convenience during flights, Cabin Attendants also manage catering operations. On the ground, they tackle various administrative and training tasks.
Key Duties
- Receives guidance from the PIC for day-to-day operations.
- Reports cabin discrepancies and maintenance issues to pilot in command.
- Coordinates with crew to ensure clean and serviced aircraft.
- Conducts preflight equipment checks.
- Part 91 flights only
- Ensures passenger compliance with regulations.
- Briefs passengers on safety features.
- Assists and commands cabin during emergencies.
- Operates emergency equipment.
- Briefs passengers on cabin management systems.
- Assists passengers with luggage and seating.
- Maintains working knowledge of service equipment and procedures.
- Maintains cabin neatness and orderliness.
- Maintains bedding and locker area.
- Coordinates and shops for interior items per owner's requests.
- Plans and prints menus and weather cards.
- Plans, orders, shops, prepares, and serves meals and beverages.
- Develops and maintains standard stock and sources for cabin supplies.
- Ensures aircraft is prepared to specifications before each flight.
- Provides client profiles, post-trip reports, and maintains paperwork.
- Creates and maintains aircraft manuals.
- Manages expense accounts.
- Attends required training.
- May supervise or train other cabin crew members.
- Represents Jet Aviation to industry groups, regulatory bodies, and the General Dynamics network.
Requirements
- College degree preferred (high school diploma required)
- 4 years of experience in a similar role
- 2 years of culinary and/or high-end food service experience
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Strong understanding of aviation industry
- Interest in supervising or training others
- Strong project management experience
- Pleasant, friendly, and helpful demeanor

- Must be 21 years of age
- Flight safety and medical training (FSI or equivalent, MedAire or CPR/AED)
