Job Description
Air Transat is hiring an In-Flight Service Supervisor in Dorval, responsible for motivating, informing, and coaching cabin crew members daily. They contribute to a professional, motivating work environment and ensure compliance with company standards and regulations. The In-Flight Service Supervisor is at the heart of operations, supporting teams, detecting problems, and proposing visionary solutions while considering the reality of cabin crew members. They are aware of the reality of daily operations and actively participate in continuous improvement of processes and procedures.
The responsibilities of the In-Flight Service Supervisor include ensuring the professional development of the flight attendant team, fostering confidence, providing recognition, and communicating constructive feedback. They also assist in the development of flight attendants, fostering a relationship of trust and motivation, investigating disciplinary cases, attending meetings, and taking appropriate actions. The Supervisor participates in the hiring process for cabin crew members, represents the employer on local committees, conducts operational visits to validate compliance with Canadian Aviation Regulations, occupational health and safety, and service standards, reviews and actions various reports, and participates in emergency response plans to support operations and cabin crew in irregular or emergency situations.
Job Requirements
A minimum of five years of leadership experience, two years of employee management/supervision, and proficiency in Microsoft tools is required. The job requires flexibility, irregular schedules, and international travel. Candidates must have a valid Canadian passport, complete initial cabin crew training, and maintain an airport restricted area identification card.
