Job Description
A Qantas Ground Support Equipment (GSE) Mechanic is responsible for performing Maintenance and rectification on a day to day basis as per manufacturers’ and company specifications to a very high standard on all Ground Support Equipment and Aircraft Tooling utilised by Qantas Engineering. Working as part of the team, your key responsibilities will include ensuring that the essential utilities and equipment needed to sustain operational activities are available as well as complete housekeeping of service vehicles, work areas and the workshop and maintain tooling and part inventories. This role will also coordinate service and repairs to all equipment while ensuring that they are appropriately prioritised to minimise the impact.

Job Requirements
Relevant Automotive Maintenance trade experience with appropriate Trade Qualifications or equivalent demonstrated work experience (civil or military)
Knowledge and understanding of Automotive Maintenance procedures preferred
Knowledge and understanding of general mechanical maintenance practice in aviation or transport industries
Demonstrated working as part of a team
Commitment to being customer-focused with flexibility and willingness to undertake other reasonable duties as required
Hold valid working rights for the US
Highly developed attention to detail
Ability to work shift work
A history of ethical/behaviour and pride in your work and hold high standards and self-discipline
