Duties and Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:
To manage a portfolio of travel trade partners and corporate clients, as well as close interaction with our Nordic KAM who looks after some of our major Global and large Nordic accounts
To achieve the agreed sales revenue target by maintaining and developing business/relationships with corporates, TMCs, other selected travel agents, and their respective clients.
Actively hunt for and generate new business for Emirates in all possible sales channels, but with a very strong focus on the Norwegian SME market.
To develop and implement effective sales and marketing initiatives/plans with assigned accounts to increase Emirates revenue share.
To execute the local sales and marketing plans for global and Nordic agency accounts in agreement with Nordic Corporate KAM
To negotiate incentive agreements with corporate clients review/assess performance on a quarterly basis as well as promote the Emirates Business Rewards corporate program
To closely monitor area sales performance and recommend action where necessary to maximize revenue, as well as to ensure continuous communication and awareness of Emirates’ products and services
To actively visit both Travel trade and corporate clients assigned on the required call frequency basis as well as actively work towards chambers of commerce and other business relevant organizations and forums.
Represent Emirates at trade events, conferences, sponsorships activation events, and familiarization trips as required
To maintain and update regular sales call activities in salesforce.com
Job Requirements
A minimum of 2 years experience in airline field sales or similar travel related business
Well versed and with a strong ability to source new business
Experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Ability to work with CRM tools like salesforce.com
A desire to achieve results
Strong commercial acumen
Fluent in written and spoken Norwegian and English
A valid Driving License is essential.
