Job Description
Provides legendary Customer Service for Ground Operations by assuming responsibility for the operation. Coordinate Station functions, to ensure a safe, reliable and on-time operation. Utilizes tactical and strategic skills to ensure operational effectiveness and efficiency. Drive Ground Operations performance across operational areas. Ensure a safe environment for Employees and assets. Assures Company standards and operational targets are met; included, but not limited to safety, operational performance, customer satisfaction and financials.
Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:
Duties and Responsibilities
Operate station with less than 100 flights and less than 400 Employees
Provide friendly service to, and maintains positive relationships with all internal and external Customers
Provide Leadership and supervision in a Station
Coordinate Station activities to ensure Customer satisfaction and security of Company funds
Translates Director�s broad objectives into Station specific activities
Manage ongoing operational performance through KPI's
Thinks strategically in addressing issues or opportunities within the Station
Manages the Station budget, including over-time investment
Provide performance updates and improvement action plans in staff meetings and huddles
Drive performance processes by setting goals and objectives, monitoring results against key metrics, and holding Employees accountable for results
Meet or exceed performance goals for the system and Station through effective decisions
Responsible for hiring Employees and oversees required training is provided
Monitor staffing to ensure maximum utilization of personnel and efficient use of overtime
Ensure frequent and accurate communication
Develops Leadership at Supervisor and Manager level and builds a high performing Team
Foster Employee engagement to maintain positive morale and Team Spirit
Motivates Employees to the highest degree of Customer Service while maintaining Company and departmental goals
May perform SIDA signatory responsibilities as assigned
May perform other job duties as directed by Employee�s Leaders, including special projects

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Possess strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Proficient in several computer software packages including Microsoft Office products and operational tools

Possess excellent people leadership skills including, coaching, mentoring, and directing
Aware of hazardous situations and be able to handle emergencies as needed
Ability to review reports and analytics to execute plans for improved performance
Ability to work as part of a Team
Ability to work under tight time constraints
Ability to manage highly sensitive and confidential information
Deep understanding of airlines and cross-departmental and Ground Ops functions Knowledge of collective bargaining agreements
Ability to maintain a safe working environment to prevent accidents and injuries
Required: High school diploma or GED
Preferred: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
Required: 2 years of People Leadership experience
Preferred: 2 years of Ground Operations Leadership
Preferred: 2 year Ground Ops cross functional (Ramp, Operations, Customer Service, Freight, Provisioning) knowledge
Preferred: A valid U.S. driver's license
Ability to obtain a Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) badge and meet all local airport requirements
May be required by Station Leadership to obtain a Customs Seal and meet all requirements to work international flights
Ability to obtain GSC qualification and comply with DOT drug and alcohol testing program
Ability to perform physical activities such as lifting (50lbs.) standing, sitting, pulling, pushing, squatting, climbing, walking, kneeling, reaching, crawling and writing
Must maintain a well-groomed appearance per Company appearance standards as described in established guidelines
Must be a U.S. citizen or have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must be able to comply with Company attendance standards as described in established guidelines
Ability to work various shifts including nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours
Some travel required for training
