Job Description
Supports the Inflight Crew Scheduling Leadership Team by handling administrative duties and functions related to Inflight Crew Scheduling Support.
Duties and Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:
Handles all aspects of bi-weekly payroll (regular, overtime, holiday, and vacation pay) and data entry into Kronos for Inflight Crew Scheduling Employees
Responsible for properly coding the attendance and schedule management for Inflight Crew Scheduling Employees in the workforce management tool
Prepares, distributes, processes, and closes weekly, monthly, and quarterly schedule bids in RosterApps (the schedule management software in Roster Apps).
Assists the Inflight Crew Scheduling Support Supervisor with management of the PTO program for Inflight Crew Scheduling Employees
Open, sort, screen, and distribute incoming mail
Processes Scheduling Employee FMLA and Leave of Absence paperwork
Distributes Status Reports and other departmental correspondence, as directed by Inflight Crew Scheduling Leadership
Makes arrangements for department meetings and events, as directed by Inflight Crew Scheduling Leaders
Compile, summarize data, and prepares special reports
Assists with special projects and initiatives in Crew Scheduling
May perform other job duties as directed by Employee's Leaders
Job Requirements
Must have strong attention to detail.
Must be self-motivated, have the ability to multi-task, and be able to perform job functions with minimal direct supervision.
Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to type and/or use a computer keyboard with sufficient speed and accuracy to meet job needs.
Must possess excellent computer skills and be proficient in Microsoft Word Excel, PowerPoint, and Kronos.
Must be able to perform extremely detailed tasks with a high degree of accuracy.
Must work under tight time constraints to accomplish assignments and projects.
Must have strong organizational and time management skills.
Must be able to comply with Company attendance and appearance standards as described in Southwest Guidelines for Employees.
Must be able to work well with others as part of a Team.
Must maintain confidentiality.

Required: High School Diploma or GED
Required: At least four (4) years of professional administrative experience
Ability to perform work duties from [limited space work station/desk/office area] for extended periods of time
Ability to communicate and interact with others in the English language to meet the demands of the job
Ability to use a computer and other office productivity tools with sufficient speed and accuracy to meet the demands of the job
Must maintain a well-groomed appearance per Company appearance standards as described in established guidelines
Must be a U.S. citizen or have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must be able to comply with Company attendance standards as described in established guidelines
Must be able to work weekends, holidays, overtime, and shift work when needed to meet operational needs and deadlines
Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 by start date to comply with Executive Order 14042, which requires employees of federal contractors to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19
