An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Car Park Operative to join the Terminal Operations Team at Liverpool John Lennon Airport.
Duties and Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:
Reporting to the Car Parks & Cleaning Operations Manager you will ensure all car park operations are run to the highest of standards, work is scheduled and completed safely, effectively and efficiently whilst offering exceptional customer service.
You will undertake all tasks associated with the daily running of all car park operations, organise workload and resolve any issues that may arise. You will assist with co-ordinating department rosters, maintain daily incident logs, undertake 1st line and routine preventative maintenance on equipment and ensure all car parks and ancillary equipment areas are clean and clear of debris.
You will be responsible for assisting customers with queries, issues or complaints and you will respond to intercom calls in a polite and professional manner. You will safely transport customer vehicles using the Meet & Greet car park product, ensuring stringent operational procedures are followed. You will also carry out any required cash handling functions including, but not limited to, collection of cash float, emptying of cash boxes, transportation of cash, replenishing change machine and clearing coin jams.
Job Requirements
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Full, clean driving license.
Excellent time management and planning skills to ensure all car parks remain fully operational.
Self-disciplined and able to function well in a fast-paced environment.
Flexible approach to 24-hour shift pattern.
