    As a Cargo Customer Service Agent, you will work with an innovative team whose common goal is to ensure that our customers’ baggage and cargo arrive safely and on time to drive a positive customer experience. At Delta, our brand is critical to our continued success. As a Cargo Agent, you play a key part in keeping our brand strong by, maintaining professionalism, and exhibiting a positive attitude inside and outside of work.

    Cargo Customer Service Agents will be scheduled to work a shift between 20 to 40 hours per week. Work tasks include bending, stooping and twisting, standing, and walking. Work tasks are repetitive such as loading and unloading and transport cargo and mail to aircraft.

    • Safely operate ground support equipment such as tugs, forklifts and tow tractors.

    • Subject to flexible work shift, including working weekends and holidays.

    • Subject to working in inclement weather.

    • Practice safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures while performing under time constraints.


    Job Requirements

    • High School diploma, GED or High School Equivalency

    • Must successfully complete relevant training classes.

    • Must have a valid driver’s license.

    • Be authorized to work in the US and have a 5-year US residency

    • Should have excellent oral and verbal communication skills and be able to comprehend detailed job instructions.

    • Subject to shift work and working weekends.

    • Requires outside work.

    • Should project a professional image.

    • Must be able to drive and safely operate cargo loader and baggage tug, as well as tow tractor when required to dispatch aircraft.

    • Must be able to perform essential job functions, including the ability to routinely lift at least 70 pounds.

    • Pass a physical ability test

    • Where permitted by applicable law, must have received or be willing to receive the COVID-19 vaccine by date of hire to be considered for U.S.-based job, if not currently employed by Delta Air Lines, Inc.

    • PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • Previous cargo freight and warehouse operations experience is preferred.

    • Typing/computer skills are strongly preferred.
