    The Onboard Specialist will support the operation by closely monitoring all catering deliveries for accuracy, timeliness and quality of all onboard products. They will work with our third-party vendors and Airports to ensure proper quantities are on hand and delivered as appropriate to support the daily operation of over 600 daily departures. The Onboard Specialist will monitor and maintain the inventory of FA EFB devices for the 4000+ Flight Attendants systemwide. In addition, the Onboard Specialist will assist in delivering Inflight Care and Engagement events across the entire network of 4000 + Flight Attendants. This will be accomplished one journey at a time while taking care of each other and our guests.

    • Ensure the welfare of each other and our guests is an ongoing safety practice.

    • Anticipate the needs of each other and our guests by exceeding expectations in attentiveness.

    • Monitors and maintains the inventory of all FA EFB devices amongst the entire crew network.

    • Coordinates a timely shipment of FA EFB devices between LSG and the crew bases.

    • Processes weekly liquor orders for the third-party vendor. Ensures all payments are processed in a timely manner.

    • Monitors and maintains inventory control of all catering equipment.

    • Supports all Crew Bases, Spirit Stations and RONs with distribution of all promotional materials, catering service supplies and tarmac orders to ensure proper inventories are on hand.

    • Maintains and updates all showcase cabinets with new and discontinued products.

    • Coordinates travel for onboard audits, kitchen tours per contractual agreement with Retail In Motion members.

    • Assists in preparing monthly catering schedules to be disseminated to Flight Attendants, Crew Base’s Stations and Catering Security Companies.

    • Maintains Tarmac Supply kit inventories as well as places initial Tarmac Orders for all opening stations.

    • Monitors and maintains the communication channels for enhanced communication with the Flight Attendants.

    • Generate stories/posts surrounding inflight initiatives, menu launches, uniform updates, training and procedure updates and other Spirit news.

    • Develop and manage automation workflows within a variety of email and marketing automation clients (i.e. MailChimp).

    • Processes all terminations in the system to ensure access is turned off and company items are returned to the appropriate departments.

    • Maintains Inflight Emergency Response call-tree and Inflight Contact list.

    • Primary liaison for uniform questions and orders. Administration rights to HPI to add credits and manage accounts as applicable.

    • Coordinates departmental events to include organizing meals, venue, set-up.

    • Works closely with all bases to assist with providing supplies and support for various functions.

    • Processes compliments received in the system.

    • Provide support with all Inflight Summits, conferences, tours and events.

    • Identify additional engagement opportunities for Flight Attendants.

    • Work with the Spirit Communications Team to ensure effective, aligned messaging across all stakeholders.

    Job Requirements

    • 1-3 years' experience required.

    • In depth understanding of all processes involved in Inflight Administration including databases, policies, procedures, and Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) requirements/reporting preferred.

    • Ability to multi-task and handle fast paced, changing priorities.

    • Telework capacity: Hybrid

    • Domestic & Internation travel up to 25% of the time.
