Job Description
To execute the commercial strategies for the port in order to surpass revenue targets and commercial Key Performance Indicators as well as to support the port management team to drive service excellence and delivery on the cargo services strategy.
To execute operational and sales functions including oversight of suppliers to ensure compliance to company and regulatory requirements and provide a high level of service to our customers.
Duties and Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:
Assist the Cargo Manager(s) & coordinate with the Cargo Sales team to achieve revenue target
Customer & Support Services
Coordinate with Sales to provide customer-centric solutions to customers
Handle customers’ enquiries in a timely & professional manner
Maintain good relationship with all sales channels stakeholders
Champion Cathay products, provide excellent & consistent product solutions
Support cargo reservations with exemplary customer service
Provide vendor notification for all flights
Assist in managing GHA & suppliers' performance
Support the achievement of performance targets
Prepare, check & review flight documentations
Coordinate & communicate effectively between various stakeholders
Coordinate diversion of flights when required
Assist with crew administration & support matters
Ramp Coordinator (RCO)
Ensure all procedures are properly carried out
Monitor the optimisation of space utilisation
Comply to all Security Programme
Maintain good communications with all stakeholders
Quickly resolve ramp issues & ensure safe operations
Assess the cause of any delay
Monitor the acceptance & release of special cargo
Coordinate warehouse activities & conduct quality checks
Safety, Security and Compliance
Comply and conformance to all regulatory & internal procedural requirements
Conduct quality check & participate in audits
Conduct Operational Duty Holder activity
Emergency and Accident & Crisis Response responsibilities
Administrative Support
Assist with various administrative & training tasks
Support Cargo Manager to implement programmes on e-initiatives
Any other reasonable task as requested
Job Requirements
Graduation in any field is a minimum
Diploma / Certification in a relevant business field would is an advantage
Minimum 2 years’ experience in cargo industry is an added advantage
Prior customer service experience with demonstrable customer service orientation
Excellent communication skills
Highly attentive to detail
Proficiency in MS Office and general technology skills
Good analytical, problem solving and planning skills
Ability to work independently
Knowledge of CHAMP CargoSpot systems is an advantage
Adaptability to change
