Job Description
Research, write, proofread and edit copy for DLV Vacations marketing promotions, printed materials and websites. Ensure adherence to brand and DOT standards. Develop and deliver communications for internal use.
Duties and Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:
Regularly attend and participate in project kickoff and team meetings
Work collaboratively with creative team,Partnership Marketing and Marketing Project Managers to ensure information is accurate and complete for all DLV marketing, sales, and partnership advertising materials.
Develop thorough understanding of DLV brands, Delta Air Lines brand and partner brands, and use appropriate brand voice and style to address consumer-facing and B2B audiences for a variety of media channels.
Ensure content is aligned with brand personas and stages of the customers’ journey.
Ensure all copy is optimized for SEO; continually seek out best practices for copywriting in SEO.
Write, proofread and fact-check hotel offers and promotional deals grids; pricing information; Delta Vacations destination, hotels and activity descriptions; and copy content for B2B and consumer emails.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned, which may include cross-utilization within the department or with other departments

Additional Duties: Prepare presentations, award entries and other materials to support DLV business initiatives.
Job Requirements
High School diploma or GED required.
Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university; or equivalent work experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Communications and/or journalism experience in a corporate or agency environment required.
Experience following brand standards to write consumer and trade and copy for multiple audiences and different media channels required.
Ability to think creatively, solve problems collaboratively, and works quickly under deadline.
Must demonstrate strong English language writing, grammar and proofreading skills.
Must be able to effectively and professionally communicate with colleagues as well as demonstrate sound judgment/reasoning skills.
One year of travel industry experience preferred.
Knowledge of DLV programs, policies and procedures preferred.
Strong Mac or PC skills and basic electronic publishing skills required, including proficient use of Adobe Acrobat and MS Word.
