This job is a member of the Corporate Security Team within the Corporate Affairs Division. Reporting to the Regional Manager, the Corporate Security Coordinator is primarily responsible to ensure the safety and security of the customers, employees,and corporate assets of American Airlines. .

Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:
Duties and Responsibilities
Conduct security oversight of vendor activities on inbound and departing International flights
Review statistical data regarding pilferage to observe loading/off-loading process
Conduct motorized and foot patrols of American Airlines’ operational footprint
Coordinate with Baggage Service, Cargo, Ramp Service and Customer Care Departments
Act as a liaison with all levels of law enforcement on criminal and security matters
Identify risk and suggest solutions to help mitigate loss.
Assist with the development and implementation of fraud detection/preventions systems
Become familiar with and enforce all government and airline security regulations
Ability to change work schedule as dictated by the needs of the department
Job Requirements
High School diploma or GED Equivalency
2 years of law enforcement or military experience
Experienced in conducting witness and suspect interviews
Strong analytical skill including the ability to research, analyze and present investigative findings
Knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
Knowledge of budgets, purchasing, scheduling, and inventory procedures
Knowledge of AWA and Security Services policies and procedures
Strong organizational skills
Ability to work in a confidential environment
Ability to handle multiple tasks with minimal supervision
Attention to detail
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast paced and rapidly changing environment
