Job Description
This job is a member of the Corporate Security Team within the Corporate Affairs Division. The Coordinator of Corporate Security reports to the Sr. Manager of Corporate Security, and is primarily responsible to ensure the safety and security of the customers, employees and corporate assets of American Airlines.

Duties and Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:
Preserves the integrity and accuracy of the Corporate Security investigations database
Coordinates with Corporate Security Managers, Investigators and People Team Investigators to track the status and timely closeout of investigations
Prepares reports pertaining to Corporate Security investigations
Maintains the AA Internal Refuse List and Face Covering Refuse List Policy’s
Coordinates with Security Operations to preserve the integrity and accuracy of the AA Internal Refuse List
Notifies customers when they have been added to the AA Internal Refuse List and Face Covering Refuse List
Adjudicates cases where customers appeal their Internal Refuse List and Face Covering Refuse List status
Helps team members that have been a victim of assault by a customer to navigate the criminal justice system and keeps team members apprised of the investigation status and actions taken with the customer
Coordinates with AA Safety regarding customer misconduct incident notifications to FAA
Liaison with all levels of law enforcement on criminal investigations and security matters
Provides support to the Corporate Security Campus Security Team
Job Requirements
High School diploma or GED Equivalency
6 months Security Services experience
Previous administrative experience
Experience and knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
Strong organizational skills
Ability to perform both independently and as a team member, handle multiple assignments and respond efficiently to changing priorities
Analytical skills, including the ability to assemble information, extract pertinent facts, draw logical conclusions, and present recommendations
Ability to work in a confidential environment
Attention to detail
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast paced and rapidly changing environment
2 years of law enforcement or military experience
Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice
Experience in conducting witness and suspect interviews
Experience with Corporate Event Reporting System (CERS)
Experience with Archer
Customer service experience
