    In this exciting role as International Marketing Executive you’ll support activation of the Virgin Atlantic priorities in line with brand standards to deliver both brand and commercial targets. Driving the implementation centrally developed assets and initiatives for both trade & consumer audiences in International markets. You’ll support the creation of trade tools and B2B asset creation through providing insights on the effectiveness of past activities.

    You'll also support the distillation of market and consumer insights from International markets to inform upstream development of the global brand strategy and toolkit creation. Demonstrating a solid understanding of the brand, exceptional creative flair and aptitude for innovation to bring a brilliantly different edge to all that you do, in the pursuit of driving preference for Virgin Atlantic and to support the company vision to be the Most Loved Travel Company


    Duties and Responsibilities

    Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:

    • Confidently and effectively work in matrix teams to achieve exemplary performance levels aligned to objectives.

    • Learn from external & internal best practice to set high quality standards for yourself and others to push the boundaries.

    • Participate in new digitally led ways of working across markets, contributing to an inclusive and engaged team culture whilst increasing productivity and effectiveness.

    • Experiment with new strategies to effectively influence teams to deliver plans to a high standard

    • Develop strong working relationships with the cross functional teams to ensure effective coordination of efforts across Virgin Atlantic initiatives.

    • Seek out global best-practice & foster creativity in the team through resourcefully partnering with agencies, and bringing the outside world inside.

    • Support the activation of priority initiatives for Virgin Atlantic to achieve brand and commercial target in International markets.

    • Support the development of assets/collateral required for the international consumer plans, and the development of trade customer selling tools to deliver commercial/brand targets

    • Support brand standards by always ensuring “brilliantly different” execution at every consumer touch point

    • Work in partnership with the Comms/PR team to support local press/media enquiries, and with Manager Brand Activation/Partnerships to support local opportunities linked to key sponsorships (ie LGBT events)

    • Work in collaboration with sales stakeholders to engage them in the development of trade plans.

    • Support the generation of actionable insights through market and sales data analysis & activity evaluation to identify longer term opportunities

    • Support the evaluation/ROI of marketing activities to inform future activity plans


    Job Requirements

    • Experience working with cross functional teams to deliver brand & commercial plans

    • Experience of multiple aspects of b2b and b2c marketing

    • Adept at managing external agencies to deliver activation with limited budgets

    • Effective at matrix management and influencing upwards.

    • Commercially-astute and proficient at budget management
