Job Description
Selling Supervisor is responsible for administration and efficient daily operation of the Branch office. Maintain personal targets and goals while ensuring branch targets are achieved in a positive and professional manner through mentoring and coaching staff, implementing company policy and procedures, organizing Local Marketing and Networking events. The role will report to the Area Sales Manager and will be located in Ottawa, ON.

Duties and Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:
Supervise the daily operation of the office and proper staffing for the office
Responsible for office and staffing adhering to Standard Operating Procedures
Monitor and motivate staff development via performance appraisals, one-on-ones, and feedback
Organize local business building promotions and local networking
Ensure audit and security requirements are met
Provide high quality service to consumer travel clients
Sell a full range of preferred supplier product
Provide accurate, complex travel information (i.e. detailed travel documentation, etc.)
Resolution of client pre-travel complaints with minimal guidance
Works closely with Consumers, Tour Operators and various Internal Support departments
Invoice client files and documents accurately
Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Travel Counsellor in a Retail Travel environment
Exceptional customer service skills
Self-motivated with effective time management skills, able to manage a varied workload
Exceptional written and oral communication skills
Ability to work independently as well as work and share responsibilities within a team environment
Able to present a positive attitude and embrace change and new challenges
Good problem solving ability, attentive to detail
Must adapt to varying communication styles
Previous Supervisory/Management experience an asset
