Job Description
Delta’s in-house creative agency, Window Seat, is looking for a Copywriter who will be responsible for crafting copy for the Delta brand. You’ll partner with designers, strategists, and creative leads internally, and with incredible clients across the business.
Duties and Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:
Always aspires for creative excellence.
Copywriting – You can write creative headlines and clear, concise subheads and body copy. You do not rely on your team to level up the work over multiple rounds—you own it from the first draft.
Concepting – You can pair up with a designer or wider team and bring fresh creative ideas to the table, thinking strategically, abundantly, and creatively before the writing even starts.
Synthesizing – You know how to distill complex info into a clear messaging strategy and communication hierarchy. You understand how copy and design need to work together.
Enforces brand standards.
Persuasively present concepts and projects, both internally and to clients in writing, in person, or over video chat.
Follows processes for proofing and Delta brand compliance.

High School diploma or GED equivalent
Strong portfolio with at least 1-3 years of copywriting experience showcased.
Writing, communication and presentation skills.
Deep understanding of brand narrative and storytelling.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task across different projects.
Strong project management, time management and attention to detail.
Individual must be able to work autonomously as well as be part of a team.
Team player who is good at juggling priorities and managing time to achieve a balance of creativity and quality, while respecting timings and budgets.
Ability to work on a wide range of deliverables across every channel, and across different brands and verticals. You’re able to shift tone and voice accordingly.
Maintains positive attitude under pressure, quick deadlines and multi-round revisions.
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Communications, Advertising or Marketing or 5 plus years of relevant experience
Experience using Workfront project management platform a plus.
Experience in Adobe Creative Suite a plus.
