    Duties and Responsibilities

    Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:

    • Responsible as the fleet technical subject matter expert within Flight Division and Tech Ops

    • Responsible for all Fleet specific flight standards policies

    • Represent the Fleet in all cross-fleet flight standards policies, decisions, and work efforts

    • Responsible for development and maintenance (revisions and bulletins) of all Fleet specific technical manuals, including, but not limited to: FCOM, MEL, and FCTM

    • Responsible for incorporation/consideration of OEM Bulletins/FOTs/OEBs

    • Responsible as a stakeholder/contributor/reviewer for cross fleet manuals, including, but not limited to: FOM, GSM, and Deice Manual

    • Collaborate with Technical Publications team, other Hawaiian stakeholders, and the FAA for manual changes and review, as appliable

    • Other Duties as assigned


    Job Requirements

    • Three years experience in Part 121 air carrier operations either as a pilot or in management or oversight of pilot programs

    • Knowledge and experience regarding the regulatory requirements involved in maintaining Fleet specific Manuals (i.e. FCOM, MEL, FCTM)

    • Proven ability to build and maintain effective professional partnerships at all levels of a company and with companies, organizations, people outside of HA; credible; consistently presents self professionally (verbally, non-verbally, in writing, through behaviors, and dress and grooming)

    • Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal relationship and customer-focus skills; works effectively in teams, work groups, task teams, and independently

    • Demonstrated competence with technology

    • Self-starter, organized, detail-oriented with excellent follow through skills

    • Creative, able to create a motivational environment for employees; proven ability to affect/create positive change

    • Able to travel to all HA locations; must be able to hold a valid HA driver's license; able to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, as needed

    • Preferred Qualifications

    • Degree from a four-year accredited college or university

    • Technical Writing skills

    • Demonstrated competence in effective project management skills; ability to manage multiple projects and consistently meet deadlines and budget guidelines

    • Experience as an Instructor / Check Airman for a Part 121 carrier

    • Five years’ experience in Part 121 air carrier operations
