Job Description
The MSP Cargo Supervisor position is responsible for overseeing the work of the Cargo Agents. The Cargo Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring a safety culture is established and maintained along with ensuring each task at hand is accomplished while building relationships and problem-solving.
Duties and Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:
Oversee day to day operation of Cargo to include proper staffing and productivity
Direct the ground handling, transporting, sorting, loading, and unloading of mail
Assist in the ground handling, scanning, transporting, sorting, loading, and unloading of mail
Provide on the job training to new and current Cargo Agents
Complete shift reports ensuring operational continuity
Assist in the management of work schedules, shift trades and requested time off
Conduct shift briefings to ensure staff is organized and informed
Prepare incident reports as needed for violations of company policy
Operate heavy, motorized machinery/equipment including, but not limited to tugs, tractors, belt loaders, bag carts, pushback tractors, deicers, etc.
Communicate and work effectively with ramp agents to ensure safe and efficient loading and unloading of aircraft
Ensure that Cargo personnel adhere to established company and federal safety regulations
Follow safety regulations, which include the proper use of ground service equipment and wearing proper safety items
Any other duties assigned by management

Job Requirements
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work efficiently under time constraints
Possess a valid driver’s license
Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
Previous Airport Operations experience
Previous Supervisor experience
Previous Cargo Experience
