    The Inflight Operations Specialist will support the leadership team that oversees the growing team of 4000+ Flight Attendants to deliver industry-leading safety, operational reliability, and financial performance. This will be accomplished one journey at a time while taking care of each other and our guests.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:

    • Ensures the welfare of each other and our guests as an ongoing safety practice.

    • Anticipates the needs of each other and our gests by exceeding expectations in attentiveness.

    • Provides a professional, friendly and seamless experience.

    • Shows respect for each other’s and our guest’ time.

    • Compiles expense reports from Flight Attendants and Inflight Leadership. Ensures accuracy within budget and submits on timely basis for reimbursement (to include tuition reimbursement).

    • Processes all Flight Attendant exceptions reports to include input of daily lead pay.

    • Assists the Training Department with coordination efforts for onboarding projects such as FA EFB distribution, Uniforms, New Hire Orientation, etc.

    • Compiles all Signed and Final requests to ensure proper coding within the system is accomplished. This task is the final check and balance to ensure team members are properly removed, coded and paid.

    • Processes all terminations in the system to ensure access is turned off and company items are returned to the appropriate departments.

    • Processes all onboarding by creating eFiles for all new hires as they enter the system.

    • Processes all union grievance documentation.

    • Maintains Inflight Emergency Response call-tree and Inflight contact list.

    • Primary liaison for onboarding of all leadership positions. This includes IT set-up, hardware/software orders, distribution lists, initial travel accommodations, business cards, ID badges, etc .

    • Primary liaison for Base Operations for all IT requests/needs.

    • Organizes and provides KCM and Jumpseat authorizations.

    • Primary liaison for uniform questions and orders. Administration rights to HPI to add credits and manage accounts as applicable.

    • Coordinates departmental events to include organizing meals, venue, set-up.

    • Works closely with all bases to assist with providing supplies and support for various functions.

    • May perform other responsibilities as assigned. Responsibilities and duties may change due to operational needs.


    Job Requirements

    • Minimum of 2 years of administrative/clerical experience

    • Associates Degree in business Administration or related field preferred.

    • Flight Attendant/Airline experience preferred.

    • In depth understanding of all processes involved in Inflight Administration including databases, policies, procedures, and Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) requirements/reporting preferred.

    • Must pass background check and pre-employment testing.

    • Thorough knowledge of Windows Office products (Microsoft Office, Excel and PowerPoint). Ability to utilize all available technology to complete administrative tasks.

    • Must have ability to manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks to meet departmental objectives and goals. Flexibility to work under pressure and meet changing deadlines.

    • Ability to sit for long periods of time with continuous typing, reading, and writing.

    • Experience with database construction and maintenance.

    • Excellent verbal, analytic, and written skills, with a strong attention to detail.

    • Has a high level of integrity, confidentiality, ethics and discretion.

    • Authorization to work in the United States.

    • Ability to travel in and out of the USA, and to all countries served by Spirit Airlines.
