Job Description
As a key member of our Talent Acquisition team, you’ll be responsible for delivering on all facets of recruiting success. You will assist in promoting a strong employment brand, and you will ensue a positive candidate experience by creating a high touch environment. We’ll expect you to develop and execute sourcing plans through strong partnerships with your hiring leaders. You’ll be a consultant to our business leaders around our internal process, the external market and recruitment best practices. Most importantly, you’ll be a business partner to our business leaders and HR teams.
Duties and Responsibilities
Conducts initial recruitment meetings with managers to understand the role, the team and the technical requirements of each assigned role.
Develop an understanding of your stakeholder’s business by attending town hall meetings and team meetings.
Align with HR and Compensation teams to ensure a “One HR” approach is taken
Drive the recruitment process through regular and effective communication with hiring managers.
Develop and execute against sourcing strategies to source key talent for United.
Develop an understanding of the candidate market using analytics.
Educate teams and managers on market trends
Sell United. Communicate our value proposition and our strategy to engage passive candidates in our job postings, via social media and during interviews.
Conduct interviews with candidates and provide recommended slate to hiring managers.
Manage offer process from end to end including negotiations and closing.
Participate and lead events and recruitment activities aligned with our Talent Acquisition Strategy
Create unique strategies that will ensure a pipeline of diverse talent.
Participate in United events, panel discussions, Business Resource Group partnerships and HR Projects as required.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree
LinkedIn certified recruiter preferred
2 to 4 years of recent experience recruiting preferred. Experience recruiting in an enterprise wide, matrixed environment a plus. 3+ years experience supporting a fast paced Corporate Talent Acquisition team as a Recruiting Coordinator will also be considered.
Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships with all levels within the organization required.
Demonstrated good judgment and confidentiality
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a strong emphasis on a consulting orientation
Demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced, highly team-oriented environment
Excellent time management, follow-through and organizational skills
Ability to handle multiple priorities with a high degree of accuracy and ability to delegate work as needed
Intermediate to advanced computer skills in Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet Explorer and databases
Strong knowledge of social media and demonstrated usage of tools such as LinkedIn
Ability to utilize passive sourcing techniques
Ability to quickly assess candidate's skills/qualifications and attributes and make placements/recommendations as appropriate
Ability to coach and council internal and external candidates on career development
Direct, hands-on use of Taleo or other applicant tracking systems (i.e. iCIMS) required within the last 3 years
Must be willing and able to travel up to 10% of the time
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
