Job Description
Delta’s Tech Ops division is seeking a Production Control Auditor to join at an entry-level position, which is a pre-curser for the Material Controller position. The ideal candidate for this position will be a self-starter that pays attention to detail and possesses strong organizational and critical thinking skills. The individual should have basic computer knowledge and thrive in a basic warehouse environment. The position entails scanning inventory in to the shops, binning parts, physically moving engine parts and staging work for maintenance. The candidate must be willing to work shifts, weekends and occasional holidays. The Production Control Auditor will practice safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures.
Duties and Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:
Job Requirements
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent; college degree is preferred, but not required.
Must have a valid driver’s license.
Must be able to pass an extensive drug test.
Must be authorized to work in the US.
Must be willing to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
Must be able to safely lift up to 75lbs, utilizing proper equipment or assistance.
Must be able to work independently, with minimal supervision, or in a team environment.
Must possess the ability to complete task accurately and within timelines.
Should have a basic understanding of Microsoft applications (Word, Excel).
Should possess a working knowledge of logistics.
(If transferring internally) Must be performing satisfactorily in present position.
Previous experience within Engine maintenance roles is preferred.
Operating knowledge of computer programs used at Delta, such as SAP, Gem/ Mirs, RGM and Microsoft products is desired.
