Job Description
The Corporate Sales Specialist is responsible for developing and leading all sales efforts within an assigned geographic region, via in-person and telephone sales calls. A successful Corporate Sales Specialist will sell and promote a broad range of programs to a portfolio of corporate accounts, with focus on maximizing revenue and market share, and emphasis on premium revenue. This position is home-office based covering Pittsburgh, Cleveland and Akron reporting to a Senior Sales Manager within the Central Region

Duties and Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:
Successful customer relationship management
Sales strategy and program development, leading to mutually beneficial deals
Strong negotiation skills founded on business acumen and the ability to translate benefits into customers' business language to prove value
Ability to perform detailed analysis of data to determine optimum programs, goals and success
Manage and communicate program effectiveness internally at American Airlines including with Joint Business partners and the Corporate Strategy Team
Plans clear account strategies and tactical plans based on corporate sales goals and objectives balancing potential and achievability
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent experience/training
3 years successful sales experience
Proficient in basic computer skills utilizing a Windows Environment
Ability to travel up to 50%
Ability to operate in a highly competitive, demanding environment
Ability to communicate to high level executives
Understanding and execution of value-based selling required
Strong account strategy development and execution skills required
Must be able to work well under pressure and effectively balance multiple, rapidly shifting priorities with little direction or supervision
Above average analytical ability
Above average communication and presentation skills
Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States
Airline or business to business sales experience
CRM system experience
