Job Description
Ramp Service Lead work will be the same as that of a Ramp Service Agent (RSA). In addition, as working members of the group, they will be required to lead and direct the work of other employees and be responsible for the overall performance within their work area and required to lead and direct the work of others

Duties and Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:
Providing verbal coaching to employees related to their performance.
Providing verbal and/or written input to management, related to employee performance.
Preparing and issuing performance appraisals.
Temporarily resolving extreme personnel emergencies when management is not present or available, to include sending employees home for the remainder of their shift pending management investigation and action.
Performing the functions of Ground Security Coordinator, Complaint Resolutions Officer or other applicable federal, provincial, local or airport required responsibilities.
Reasonable and customary administrative duties.
Instructing and training employees covered by this agreement and other employee groups where so directed.
Resolution of customer complaints and performing any other airport work where so directed.
Job Requirements
This job is considered a safety sensitive position.
Minimum Age: 17
Must possess the legal right to work in Canada
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Valid provincial driver’s license
One (1) year of relevant experience
Must be able to lift bags weighing 32 kg’s and heavier on occasion
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
Willing and able to work rotating shifts including nights, holidays, weekends and days off
Flexible to work additional hours, on short notice, when operationally necessary
Must be able to read, write, fluently speak and understand the English language
Must be willing to work in inclement weather and noisy environment
