Duties and Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:
Maintains Cash Box, performs Cashier duties, prepares Cash Report Vouchers and Audits.
Maintains Airway bill stock inventory for other airlines only, prepares and updates daily PDI Journal.
Researches, approves and assigns posting information on all PDI’s processed.
Maintains RFS (Road Feeder Service) payment records, contracts and rates. Reviews statements for accuracy and resolution.
Provides the Head of Sales and Handling, F/GC with Supervisory support for the Accounting Department.
Follows-up with IRP and IDNs for unresolved collected airfreight invoices.
Coordinates all LCAG accounting matters with the relevant CA/L.
Adheres to all Lufthansa Accounting regulations.
Performs all other duties assigned or delegated by supervisors.
Job Requirements
High School Diploma required.
English required.
1 -2 years of experience in airfreight handling and operations required.
Experience in bookkeeping and accounting.
Working experience with MS Excel.
Works in accordance with rules and regulations, and given authorities.
Overall responsibility and supervision of GC Accounting Department.
Must possess a work permit for the country of employment.
