Job Description
We are looking for you to be part of the leading provider of aircraft maintenance, repair, overhaul and modification services for civil aircraft. As Lean Specialist you will apply the LHT Lean production methods and principles to LTCS processes in a sustainable and self-driven way.
Duties and Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:
Enable the workshop and other organizational units to apply Lean principles and reach the company objectives.
Facilitate the implementation of cross functional performance dialogues over the different hierarchy levels.
Design, coordinate and oversee performance improvement methods.
Identify and eliminate areas of waste within the company.
Anchor continuous improvement processes within the organization.
Manage production site planning initiatives in regards to facility expansion.
Act as a coach and mentor for the different organizational units, empowering them to independently improve processes.
Act as a trainer for the Lufthansa ProX Academey to further develop the Lean culture within the Americas.
Onsite support on various lean topics throughout the PD COM network.
Job Requirements
Extensive know how in the area of LEAN production / management process analysis and process design.
Extensive experience in the area of process improvement / efficient process design.
Ability to manage complex projects, moderate workshops and realize change processes.
Proficient in MS EXCEL (data analytics skills beneficial) and MS Power Point.
Proficient IT skills.
High School Diploma or Bachelor Degree desirable.
English required, German desirable.
Excellent analytical skills, problem solving and innovation.
Willingness to travel.
