Hawaiian Airlines (HA) is seeking college students who are interested in joining our 2021 Summer Internship program. We are offering a paid internship program that will give college students the opportunity to work on exciting projects and interact with professional experts in their chosen field. During the eight-week program (6/21/21 – 8/13/21), interns will learn about the airline industry and gain valuable transferable skills that will prepare them for their future. Interns will be partnered with a mentor in one of Hawaiian Airlines’ departments. Departments include:

• Information Technology

• Marketing

• Technical Operations

• Training & Development

Hawaiian Airlines is seeking interns with the following key attributes:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite – Word, Excel, PowerPoint (there are additional programs that proficiency will be required based on the department.)

Duties and Responsibilities

Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:

Job Requirements

• Eligible to work in the United States. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship, such as an H-1B visa, by Hawaiian Airlines

• High school diploma or GED equivalent

• Enrolled in an accredited college or university OR received undergraduate degree not more than 6 months from the time of application

• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher at the time of application.

• Available to participate in the eight-week internship period from Monday, June 21, 2021 through Friday, August 13, 2021 and intern 40 hours per week

• Successfully pass a pre-employment drug test and background check

• If applicable, ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Security Clearance
