Job Description
The Cargo Network Support Agent assists with Alaska Air Cargo internal cargo customers inquires. As an individual contributor, this role ensures the ease of movement of cargo and must be proactive during flight delays or cancelations.
This individual contributor role supports cargo network support activities for Alaska Airlines (AS), Horizon Air (QX), and SkyWest (OO).

Duties and Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:
Manages internal help desk calls from over 50 cargo stations throughout the Alaska Cargo network.
Completes customer claims in a timely process.
Processes customer applications from prospective new and renewing cargo shippers.
Monitors Alaska Air Cargo, cargo fleet and communicates fleet plans with internal and external cargo customers.
Coordinates trace requests from internal and external customers.
Tracks time sensitive shipments and key customers.
Provides after-hours cargo sales support.
Resolves logistical issues for cargo customers.
Job Requirements
A minimum of 2 years of customer service or community service experience.
Possess excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
Able to accept a starting pay of $15.00 per hour
Able to participate in paid training.
Ability and willingness to work a non-traditional shift as needed (e.g., nights, weekends, holidays).
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
Minimum age of 18.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
High school diploma or equivalent.
