Job Description
The Sourcing Recruiter is responsible for proactively sourcing, building, and maintaining a stream of qualified active and passive candidates through various recruiting and sourcing techniques. Key duties include developing and driving the Candidate identifications strategy, generating interest and selling the Southwest value proposition, and screening Candidates to determine both position and culture fit.
Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:
Duties and Responsibilities
Screen Candidates for appropriateness of skills, experience, and knowledge by reviewing resumes, facilitating phone and face-to-face interviews, and conducting reference checks in order to evaluate skill level in relation to position requirements
Grow talent pools for technical skill sets across the Company using innovative sourcing channels and techniques to find top talent including complex internet searches, social media, talent database mining, diversity resources, and networking
Partner with Recruiters and hiring Managers in order to ensure job requirements and expectations are clearly understood, ideal talent profiles are created to meet business needs, and ensure all parties remain informed and engaged with the progression of recruitment for the roles
Educate Hiring Managers, Recruiters, and Employees on sourcing strategies, resources, and tools
Develop and maintain a solid understanding of the competitive recruiting landscape including technical skill, demand for talent, resource availability, knowledge of competitive companies, and compensation plans in order to influence recruiters, hiring Managers, and HR Business Partners.
Use effective talent marketing communication strategies to build campaigns and messaging to potential prospects in targeted talent pools
Assist with the writing, editing, and posting of requisitions, job descriptions, and general screening questionnaires by ensuring compliance and consistency and strategically posting to available talent platforms
Generate reports for stakeholders by analyzing key trends, return on investment, and business impact of existing sourcing strategies to provide a basis for data-driven decision-making and business need, as well as determine areas for improvement

Required: High School Diploma or GED
Required: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
Required: Minimum of 2 years of recruiting experience
Required: Minimum of 1 year of sourcing experience
Preferred: Experience working in an Applicant Tracking System
Preferred: Technology sourcing or recruiting experience
Ability to perform work duties from [limited space work station/desk/office area] for extended periods of time
Ability to communicate and interact with others in the English language to meet the demands of the job
Ability to use a computer and other office productivity tools with sufficient speed and accuracy to meet the demands of the job
Must maintain a well-groomed appearance per Company appearance standards as described in established guidelines
Must be a U.S. citizen or have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must be able to comply with Company attendance standards as described in established guidelines.
