Coordinator will assist the MD, Commercial and GM, Global Accounts in the management of the cargo sales division.
Provides EA support to MD, Cargo Commercial and GM, Cargo Sales - Global Accounts
Commercial travel and scheduling coordination and support to MD, Cargo Commercial & GM, Global Accounts
Duties and Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:
Lead responsibility for Global Sales planning and events
Lead coordinator with regional sales coordinators for MD, Commercial
Lead coordinator Customer Advisory Board, Customer Executive Sponsor & Customer on Campus
Support executive leadership with roadshow / customer visits
Assist in the management, planning and tracking of Global Accounts expenses through Concur reporting / approvals
Work cross-functionally in preparing monthly executive customer presentation deck(s)
Assist in the management/tracking of eNCI activities including customer UATP balances
Provide support to GM, Global Accounts and related managers with monthly customer reporting needs, internal performance reporting, and preparation of supplementary deck materials
Provide lead support to Global Accounts team for GO & Offsite meetings arrangement
Support the Global Account sales team to meet and exceed revenue, yield, product and market share targets
Maintain and update top account contact list for Delta executive leadership as well as ensuring regular periodic updates by account manager in SalesForce.com (SFDC)
Maintain share-drive for Global Accounts which will encompass daily/monthly/annual programs
Coordinates with the respective GM and Global Account Managers in management of weekly reports, weekly and monthly whereabouts, vacation tracking
Responsible for top Account customer hosted events and other customer/employee functions
Periodically serves as a liaison between customer and account manager requiring professional level oral and written communication skills to senior management level personnel
Support any special assignment/projects as required from time-to-time
Practice safety-conscious behaviors in all tasks, processes and procedures
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s College Degree and/or 3-5 year’s work-related experience
Embraces diverse people, thinking and styles
General cargo industry and cargo sales knowledge preferred
Strong project management, analytical skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills required
Must have ability to exercise sound judgment, be highly motivated, flexible and able to work under pressure with minimal supervision
The candidate should be solution-oriented, multi-task capable and demonstrate the ability to work well with others in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work cross-functionally
Some limited travel is required
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications required, particularly in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Where permitted by applicable law, must have received or be willing to receive the COVID-19 vaccine by date of hire to be considered for U.S.-based job, if not currently employed by Delta Air Lines, Inc.
Bachelor’s Degree and 5+ years of relevant airline / cargo industry experience
Salesforce.com, Tableau, SharePoint/ShareDrive and Concur Expense Management experience
