    Job Description

    Miami Air is currently seeking a highly motivated and personable individual to join the company as a Flight Crew Scheduler to ensure crew coverage on all flights in accordance with CFRs and company guidelines

    Work Environment

    • Position is 90% sitting at a desk in front of a computer.

    • Numerous phone calls to/from crew members.

      Must be able to use hands, arms and/or feet for operation office equipment such as computers telephones, copy machines, etc.

    • While performing the duties of this job the employee sits for long periods of time.

    • Requires the ability to read written instructions, reports and other documentations.

    • Must be able to hear with or w/o hearing aid and enunciate clearly.

    • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

    • Cold temperatures within the office.

    Schedule

    • 10-hour days, 4 days on/3 days off per week

    • Must be flexible to work weekends, holidays, and cover vacations.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:

    • Responsible for scheduling crew member flights in accordance with CFRS', company regulations, and cost control. Must be able to work in a 24-hour operation.

    • Monitor and continuously re-flow crew utilizing worksheets and marketing plans for maximum cost effectiveness.

    • Ensure legality of crew coverage on all flights to ensure compliance with CFR and company policy.

    • Assign crews to flights to ensure all flying is covered legally within scope of CFR and company guidelines.

    • Other duties as assigned.


    Job Requirements

    • Associate degree, Technical/Vocational Certificate, or equivalent.

    • Two years of professional experience in a similar position and/or environment

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    • High attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

    • Knowledge of CFRS' and AIMS software is a plus.

    • Candidate must be able to use Microsoft applications effectively.

    • Airline experience, preferred.
