Job Description
This job is a member of the Flight Team within the Integrated Operations Division. Responsible for developing, executing, and maintaining a quality assurance program to support Flight Operations objectives to include regulatory compliance, audits, and new station starts. Supports safety risk management processes within flight operations as part of the principles of Safety Management System (SMS) described in FAA Advisory Circular 120-92 (as amended) Support the Manager of Compliance and Quality Assurance .
Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:
Duties and Responsibilities
Project manages the IOSA audit to complete IEP’s requirements and biennial audits
Monitors and reviews flight operations internal audit program results
Analyzes internal business processes for efficiency and Regulatory compliance
Designs, implements, and leads efficiency and Quality Assurance initiatives
Develops, executes, and manages a quality assurance program to support Flight Operations objectives to include regulatory compliance, audits, and new station starts
Monitors preventive and correction actions to ensure quality assurance standards are achieved
Complies with departmental safety objectives in support of company goals
Complies with corporate equal opportunity employment standards of conduct
Disseminates technical information to flight crews regarding changes in regulatory requirements
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience
3 years of relevant experience
Working knowledge or flight operations terminology, policy, and procedures
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks
Ability to work under pressure of changing priorities and deadlines
Ability to interface with various levels of management, employees, and external agencies/professional
associates/vendors
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as a team member
Ability to exercise good judgment and maintain strict confidentiality
Flight Operations experience
Experience with aviation safety standards and safe operating practices, 14 CFR Chapter I (Federal Aviation Regulations), and certificate holder's operations specifications
Experience with publishing software to include Adobe FrameMaker and Acrobat Pro
