Collaborates with aircraft maintenance technical operations, system operations control and materials department to ensure the companies FAA approved maintenance program (AMP) requirements are planned and scheduled within their respective compliance periods. The Maintenance Planner has the responsibility of ensuring maintenance workloads, manpower, tooling and materials are available for the scheduled overnight activities

Duties and Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:
Prepares routine and non-routine maintenance work orders associated with scheduled and unscheduled daily maintenance requirements.
Runs a daily scheduled maintenance forecast report for up to six months or less as required for review of future events.
Conducts a daily planning meeting to ensure all materials, work packages, tools and manpower are available for scheduled maintenance.
Coordinates with aircraft routing and operations control to ensure that aircraft scheduled for maintenance are available at their intended overnight stations.
Reviews all scheduled maintenance work packages from previous nights activities to determine which tasks were deferred, open and closed and reschedules as needed.
Ensures that future maintenance requirements are coordinated with other support departments including tooling, materials, quality control, engineering and line maintenance.
Manages and updates the scheduled maintenance calendar within Outlook as required.
Performs other duties as assigned by the Director of Maintenance Planning and Scheduling.
Routing of company aircraft. Self-prioritize tasks based on operational need and safety.
Ability to read, write and speak English (fluently) and to follow instructions and standard work processes to perform routine tasks. Ability to check work for accuracy before completion of tasks and determine when tasks are complete.
May perform other responsibilities as assigned. Responsibilities and duties may change when circumstances dictate. (e.g. emergencies change in workload, rush jobs or technical developments.)
Job Requirements
TRAX, SABRE, experience preferred
Valid A&P Certificate preferred
Must be able to work rotating shifts, nights and weekends.
At least 3 years in aircraft maintenance preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of maintenance planner experience.
Strong background and knowledge of aircraft maintenance systems.
Working knowledge of maintenance programs and aircraft routing.
Strong communication and analytical skills.
Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office products such as Outlook, Excel, Project, PowerPoint.
